Think I may have found the amp I'm going to get. Been doing some research and found Devilcat Amps. I'm really impressed with their Jimmy head.

These things are hand made in Georgia and are tube amp. From the few reviews I've read about them, they are well thought of.

They are completely new to me, I've never seen one or heard the name before. Reviews seem to be generally quite favorable and based on what I've read I'd certainly be interested in trying one but I'm guessing they don't find their way out of the U.S. too often.

Incidentally while on the subject of amps, my favorite U.S. amp manufacturer, Carvin has just been liquidated https://carvinaudio.com/

Odds are they aren't. They aren't carried by many places (think there is around 2 in Texas). Luckily one of them is about an hour away and each month that city has a Trades Day (First Monday) go on so I can kill 2 birds with one stone with a trip up there.

Yes, and I hated to see that. They had some kick-ass amps..... and their guitars aren't that bad either.
The CT6M is a decent guitar.... and our local independent music shop has one I've been eyeballing heavily.

Joe Walsh apparently thinks pretty highly of their CT6M guitars also.
